This comprehensive CD of several books includes John Crabtree's Halifax, J. Horsfall Turner's Halifax Worthies, and The Halifax Guardian's Almanac, with Maps, and information on the Wapentakes and the three Yorkshire Ridings.

It is a must for everyone with or without Halifax Connections

It tells of surrounding villages as well as places further a field. Throughout it mentions many people by name, and is packed with genealogical information on prominent local families, making it a rich source of very useful material, with extracts of Wills and Pedigree's and a section on Gibbet Law.
