Explanation of Parts/Volumes of
Yorkshire Notes and Queries
Yorkshire Folklore
The Yorkshire Genealogist
The Yorkshire Bibliographer

Edited by
J. Horsfall Turner

These Quarterly magazines were commenced in October of 1885 with part I, which was titled:

Yorkshire Notes and Queries

with the
Yorkshire Genealogist, Yorshire Bibliographer,
and
Yorkshire Folk Lore Journal

A further eleven parts with the same title were issued each quarter up to and including July 1888.

In October 1888, part XIII was issued, and this was titled:

Yorkshire Notes and Queries

with which is incorporated the
Yorkshire Folk Lore Journal

In January 1889, part XIV was issued, and this was titled:

Yorkshire Genealogist

with which is incorporated the
Yorkshire Bibligrapher

These were then published alternately, Yorkshire Notes and Queries being published April (part XV), October 1889 (part XVII), and April 1890 (part XXI), and The Yorkshire Genealogist in July 1889 (part XVI), January 1890 (part XVIII) and July 1890 (part XX).

Subsequent to this, all four titles were combined to form "Yorkshire County Magazine". I have Volume I to IV of this (which I believe is all that were published).

The following table show how the parts were put together:
